Rebecca Duffy studied fine art painting at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. She then went on the get her master’s degree in visual art education at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Duffy studied at the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan, Ireland during her junior year in college and returned this past summer, 2013, as an artist in residence. Duffy was the 2012-2013 recipient of the Frances A Kinnicutt Award, from the Worcester Art Museum. Rebecca Duffy has taught at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Ma and at the Worcester Art Museum in Worcester, MA. Duffy is currently an adjunct faculty at Lesley University in their Creative Arts and Learning Division and teaches art full time to middle and high school students at the AMSA Charter School in Marlborough, MA. Rebecca Duffy has her studio “Red Artichoke Studio” on Broad Street in Hudson, MA as part of the BlueSkies Studio community.
